Through its commitment to formation skydiving, EADS is promoting a sport which is ideally suited to conveying such values as precision, trust, teamwork, continuity and reliability. Mankind's eternal dream of flying, which is what drove on the founding fathers of EADS, is fulfilled and portrayed impressively by formation skydiving: precise flying using only ones own body.
It is important for EADS – through formation skydiving – to support a sport which has a direct connection to the aerospace sector and by means of which EADS products such as Eurocopter helicopters, EADS CASA transport aircraft or historic aircraft like the JU 52 can be used effectively together with the athletes.
