* On April 4, 2006, Lagardère issued mandatory exchangeable bonds. The EADS shares deliverable at the maturity of the bonds will represent a maximum of 7.5% of the share capital of EADS. Lagardère already delivered each time 2.5% out of the 7.5% in June 2007 and in June 2008.

** On February 9, 2007, Daimler reached an agreement with a consortium of private and public-sector investors by which it will reduce its shareholding in EADS by 7.5%.

As at 30th June 2008 47.5 % of the share capital of EADS was held by Daimler and Sogeade who jointly control EADS through a Dutch law contractual partnership (the “Contractual Partnership”). SEPI (a Spanish state holding company), being a party to the Contractual Partnership, held 5.5 % of the share capital of EADS. The free float amounted respectively to 47 %.

As at 31st December 2007 50.05% of the share capital of EADS was held by Daimler and Sogeade who jointly control EADS through a Dutch law contractual partnership (the “Contractual Partnership”). SEPI (a Spanish state holding company), being a party to the Contractual Partnership, held 5.49% of the share capital of EADS. The free float amounted respectively to 44.46%.

Approximately 0.52% of the capital are held by EADS employees.

Beginning of April 2006 DaimlerChrysler and Lagardère SCA, two of EADS' core shareholders, announced they entered into simultaneous transactions aimed at reducing by 7.5 percent each their respective stakes in EADS. EADS was consulted and views these steps to increase the free float of its capital as a very positive development for all shareholders.

At the end of 2005 65.25% of the share capital of EADS were held in equal proportions by DaimlerChrysler and SOGEADE who jointly control EADS through a Dutch law contractual partnership (the “Contractual Partnership”). SEPI (a Spanish state holding company), being a party to the Contractual Partnership, held 5.47% of the share capital of EADS. The free float amounted respectively to 34.75%.
