What are the programme’s requirements?

What does the FMD Programme consist of? Where will my projects be assigned?

The 18 month programme is based on three individually-tailored project assignments in different Business Units of the EADS Group. You will be working on various Finance topics mainly concerning the fields of Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Corporate Finance and other related areas. Moreover, there will be several team issues being part of your daily business. One of this common efforts will be to design and conduct the FMD Forum, a regularly held Finance conference.

Are there any off-the-job events, workshops or training sessions, which I will be participating in?

Yes. In addition to project-oriented assignments, a series of structured off-the-job workshops will be conducted. These workshops and training sessions are designed to enhance individual communication and leadership skills within a culturally diverse environment. The training sessions focus on topics such as team building, negotiation skills and leadersip. Additionally, you will benefit from an individually tailored training support based on the recommendations from the Selection Days and a Development Centre.

When can I join the FMD recruiting process?

From January 2009.

When does the FMD Programme start?

We intend to start the next FMD Programme in September2009

What kind of documentation should I enclose with my application?

In order to speed up your application, we will recommend you to send your complete application including cover letter, CV, letters of recommendation or reference, copies of diplomas or certificates (in the original language), and any relevant documents which add support to your application.

How does the application process work?

The process of joining the FMD Programme takes several months. If you meet the FMD requirements, we organize an interview with you. Here, you can learn more about us and we can get to know you better. Next step towards your participation at the FMD Programme will be a final selection day at the EADS Headquarters.

Which are the official EADS languages?

Our official working language is English. However, having Divisions and Business Units located mainly in Germany, France, Spain and the United Kingdom, German, French and Spanish are also considered EADS languages.

What happens after my FMD participation?

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will have gained broad knowledge of the EADS Group and its various industries & markets. Furthermore, you have been prepared trough training, workshops and development and built up your own network in the Financial world of our company. These gained assets have prepared you to take a further step into an exciting career and your first key position within the EADS Group.
