Delivery of the First EC 225 to the Ministerial Air Liaisons Group of the Republic of Algeria

Marignane - On 22 December 2004, the first series production EC 225 to roll off the Marignane assembly lines was officially delivered to the Ministerial Air Liaisons Group (GLAM) of the Algerian Republic. This helicopter in VIP livery will join the prestigious transport squadron, which serves the Presidency of the Algerian Republic.

Two new Dragonflies in the Hanseatic Skies – The Hamburg Police Helicopter Squadron inaugurates two latest-technology EC 135 Helicopters as it celebrates its 40th Anniversary

Hamburg - On November 11th , the Interior Senator of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Udo Nagel, officially inaugurated two new EC 135 police helicopters. They have been named Dragonfly 1 and Dragonfly 2 (German call name: Libelle 1 and Libelle 2). The two brand new Eurocopter aircraft replace the older and now-retired BO 105 helicopters of the Hamburg Police Helicopter Squadron. The EC 135 is currently the latest-technology light twin-engined helicopter in the market and best-seller in its class. Around 350 helicopters have already been delivered to customers throughout the world.

Eurocopter and COHC Sign Contract for Two AS 332 L1 Super Pumas in Offshore Configuration and Additional Optional Helicopters

Zhuhai - On November 1st, during the Airshow China in Zhuhai, in the presence of Philippe Camus, CEO of EADS (European Aeronautics Defense and Systems), Norbert Ducrot, Eurocopter Executive Vice President and Li Jian Yi, President and CEO of COHC (Citic Offshore Helicopter Co. Ltd.), signed a purchase contract of a value worth 24.7 million Euros for two AS 332 L1 Super Pumas with an option to acquire one EC 225 and one EC 155 B1 helicopters.

ILA/Berlin - Eurocopter and its partner companies in the NHIndustries consortium, Agusta and Stork Fokker, are proud to announce that the first serial NH90 helicopter to come off the Eurocopter production line in Germany is publicly presented at the ILA Berlin Air Show on May 11th. The aircraft performed its maiden flight last week on May 4th at Eurocopter's Donauwörth facility in Germany. In the expert hands of Herbert Graser, Manfred Kuck (Test Pilots) and Laurent Palcy (Flight Test Engineer), the aircraft designated "TGEA01" flew 2 hours and 5 minutes, thus demonstrating the high degree of proficiency and mastery of the NH90 programme.
