New Prop for the Wilga 2000 Floatplane

EADS-PZL “Warszawa-Okecie” S.A. has been working closely with their Canadian Dealer Sealand Aviation Ltd to develop a float package for their WILGA 2000 aircraft.

Sealand Aviation Ltd, based in Vancouver Island, BC has installed a set of CAP 3000 floats to the WILGA 2000. Sealand have been conducting flight tests on the aircraft with the standard fit Hartzell 3 blade propeller. In addition flight tests will be conducted using the Haertzell HC-C2YR-1BF9F8475T+2 (2 blade 84”) propeller to improve take-off performance of the aircraft on floats.

Sealand are also installing a set of Wipline 3000 amphibious floats to the WILGA and are planning to have the aircraft on display at the Alaska State Aviation Conference and Trade Show to be held in Anchorage on the 15th & 16th May 2004.
