EADS, the world's second largest aerospace and defence company, and Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI), Greece's leading aerospace and defence company, have signed a Framework Co-operation Agreement at the Paris Air show in Le Bourget on Tuesday 17th June, 2003.
This agreement provides an efficient tool for the two parties to strengthen their existing collaboration and to explore further opportunities to develop joint activities. The co-operation will include the core skills from both parties.
The Agreement was signed by Dionissios Xenos, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of HAI and by Philippe Camus and Rainer Hertrich, CEOs of EADS.
Following this Agreement, a Coordination Committee will be set up, to monitor progress achieved towards developing a true and long lasting partnership between the two parties.
EADS and HAI already have a significant track record of successful cooperation in commercial and military aircraft, missile and telecommunication areas."
