EADS Socata at 45th Edition of Paris Air Show

  • Air show debut for the TBM 700C2
  • New engine control panel and a new look for the TB GT range
  • New business for maintenance contracts by flying hours

Paris Air Show, 14 June 2003

EADS Socata, the leading general aviation manufacturer in Europe and a top-tier partner of major aerospace programs, is showcasing its 2004 lineup at the 45th International Paris Air Show at the Bourget airfield. On display are:

  • the TBM 700C2, a new version of this high-performance single turboprop, with a maximum takeoff weight of 3,354 kg, an increase in its useful load to 2,646 lbs. (1,200 kg), compared to 1,765 lbs (800 kg) previously;
  • the TB 10 Tobago GT, a fixed-gear 5-seater with a 180-hp power plant, sporting new standard livery for all TB GT models, starting in the second half of 2003;
  • the TB 20 Trinidad GT, presented in its 2003 Premium version, a 5-seater single engine aircraft, developing 250 hp, and equipped with retractable landing gear;
  • the TB 21 Trinidad GT, also a Premium 2003, is the turbocharged version of the later, capable of a peak airspeed of 190 KTAS;
  • the French Army TBM 700B, proof of Socata's presence provider of military aircraft. EADS Socata ensures support of twenty TBM 700's for the French Air Force, and for 700's forthe French Army TBM 700B, proof of Socata's presence as a provider of military aircraft. EADS Socata ensures support for a fleet of twenty TBM 700's for the French Air Force, and for eight TBM 700's for the French Army, within the framework of an "MCO" contract (contract to maintain for operational readiness).
