The EADS Juniors Programme is a continuous development programme focused on former interns. Candidates are former interns who have demonstrated an outstanding level of performance and commitment but were not available for immediate recruitment at that point.
Members of the EADS Juniors Programme are all students of different backgrounds and nationalities. EADS, as a trans-European industrial company is genuinely composed of different backgrounds and nationalities, so is the programme.
May it be aerospace and mechanical engineering, economics, computer science or humanities, Juniors combine the competences of any real-life company and are given the opportunity to enhance their own through multiple work and fun activities. Once a year, Juniors meet for a personal development workshop on the Island Juist where they work on both technical and personal development projects.
But above all, Juniors are people with personality that are moved by some kind of passion, be it flying, working in teams, eager to make new experiences…
Georgios:
“Joining the EADS Juniors Programme partially fulfilled my childhood dream and passion: Aerospace. The EADS Juniors Programme is composed of a very exciting mixture of aerospace ‘engineering’ oriented project teamwork, motor glider flight experience and meetings at airshows. Very important however, is the fact that in all the above events I have the pleasure to cooperate with ‘foreign people’ that now I call my friends. People that create a pan-European network, linking various places in the continent and that will strive in the future and for the future towards a common European aerospace cooperation, a common European vision. The other half of that childhood dream will be fulfilled when my student days will be over and I can take the final step towards the European aerospace business.”
My commitment as a Junior:
“Students from all over Europe and EADS form a team of people that trains itself in every aspect of the modern business environment. The result: we all enjoy aerospace creation in its best form, and as an engineering graduate, a business trainee and a European citizen, I am proud to be a part of such a team”
One of the main objectives of the programme is to retain interns that were highly motivated by their work, and to raise enthusiasm so that they can stay in contact with the entire organization. This is how Juniors are given the chance to get further acquainted with EADS recruitment activities and recruiters on the occasion of HR events organized at the two major European airshows, Le Bourget in Paris and ILA in Berlin.
