NetCOS provides support in the frame of studies and programs driven by EADS such as :

  • Ground Based Air Defence / Extended Air Defense
  • Advanced Naval Combat Systems & CEC
  • Land Operations
  • UAV systems in C4ISR
  • Border surveillance, large events security management

NetCOS is also proposed as a tool to MoDs and Forces as:

  • Support to concept development & evaluation
  • Synthetic Environment based Acquisition
  • Trials preparation and replay tool
  • Training to Net Centric Operations commandment..

One example:

The Air Defence TestBed (ADTB) is a NetCOS application dedicated to large air defence systems.

Current use cases of the TestBed are Network Centric Warfare related scenarios with Hardware-in-the-Loop Surface to Air Missile Operation Center (SAMOC), Advanced Naval Combat System, and AWACS MSI. Future applications will be used in the GBAD U.K. programme to perform operational analysis, system performance analysis, experimentation up to demonstration level, and operator training tasks.
