Tornado RECCE
Over 30 Tornados of the German Luftwaffe have been equipped with an external reconnaissance pod and are deployed as Tornado Recce aircraft for tactical reconnaissance purposes. They can be deployed day and night in any weather conditions.

The "Recce Pod" is basically compatible with all modern combat aircraft. It has two KS153A optical cameras from Zeiss, a Honeywell infrared line scanner, the Honeywell Recce Management System plus a digital data recording device (Ampex). Thanks to the modular design of the pod, modernization is possible at any time.
