The upcoming Russian aerospace exhibition MAKS 2005 will be used as an opportunity by EADS to achieve further progress in the cooperation between EADS and the Russian aerospace and defence industry. Two top EADS executives will attend the show which takes place from August 16 to 21 at Zhukovsky near Moscow. Stefan Zoller, CEO of the Defence and Security Systems Division and Johann Heitzmann, CEO of the EADS Business Unit Military Aircraft, will represent the largest European manufacturer of aerospace and defence products at the trade exhibition.
“Russian participation in current and future Airbus programmes, the marketing of the Be-200 fire-fighter and our participation in the Russian Irkut corporation will be the main topics that our top managers will address with their Russian counterparts”, says Vadim Vlasov, CEO of OOO EADS, the groups Russian subsidiary.
The EADS appearance at MAKS includes the full product range of EADS. All divisions of EADS, Airbus, Defence & Security Systems, Eurocopter, Space and Military Transport Aircraft will participate in the exhibition. The EADS stand is located in Hall A.
