Alexander Reinhardt (39) is to become the new Head of Corporate Media Relations at EADS. With effect from 1 July 2007, he will succeed Michael Hauger, who has left the company.
In his new function, Reinhardt will be responsible for EADS' worldwide media activities and will act as the company spokesperson. He will report to the Head of EADS Corporate Communications, Dr. Christof E. Ehrhart.
Reinhardt has been Head of Communications for the EADS Defence & Security Division since 2003. From 1998 to 2003, he worked in the Public Relations Department at Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. Prior to this role, he was a Bundeswehr Officer in the Mountain Infantry for ten years. He holds a degree in political science.
EADS is a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services. In 2006, EADS generated revenues of € 39.4 billion and employed a workforce of about 116,000.
