EADS Test & Services and Beta Air sign a Memorandum Of Agreement on test solutions
- Follow-up of former Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2004
- Agreement is for the maintenance of Russian and CIS fleets of civil aircraft

EADS Test & Services, leader of testing Western aircraft, and Beta Air, leader of testing Russian aircraft, will combine their applications and technologies to bring joint test solutions to the Russian/CIS market. In a recently signed Memorandum of Agreement, the two companies agreed to develop common solutions based on Beta Air.s ATE-200 and EADS. ATEC Series 6. These test solutions will meet the maintenance needs of local airlines that are currently acquiring an increasing number of Western aircraft. Implementation is planned to start early next year. Beta Air.s ATE-200 is the world.s only station capable of testing Russian aircraft equipment. The ATEC Series 6 from EADS Test & Services is the world leading test equipment for civil avionics; it is in service worldwide with all major airlines and maintenance organizations.
