EADS AEROFRAME SERVICES ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

  • Daniel Stone brings aircraft maintenance and engineering expertise to EADS

EADS Aeroframe Services, a leader in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has announced that Daniel Stone has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, Mr. Stone will serve as the company’s chief maintenance and operations officer and assume responsibility for the direct management and administration of all maintenance activities related to the EADS Aeroframe Services Lake Charles Louisiana facility.

EADS Aeroframe Services specializes in providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services to commercial aircraft customers. Daniel Stone has more than 38 years of aircraft maintenance and engineering experience. Prior to his newly appointed position, Stone served as Vice President of Technical Services at Kitty Hawk Air Cargo and Air Jamaica Airlines where he directed the maintenance activities of the fleets in Europe, the US and Caribbean. Prior to these positions, he spent more than 15 years with Northwest Airlines, and Fairchild Dornier Aerospace, serving in numerous positions, including Vice President of Technical Services, Vice President Maintenance and Engineering, Vice President Maintenance and Field Support, and Director of Aircraft Maintenance with varied responsibilities in Europe, China and the United States.

Daniel Stone has Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
