EADS help for Russian orphans has become a firm tradition at the Moscow air salonMoscow, 01 August 2003
This is already the third time that the aerospace company EADS has taken advantage of the Moscow airshow MAKS in order to provide material support for Russian orphans. This tradition was begun in the year 1999. At MAKS 2003, the head of EADS's Moscow Office Joachim Michel will be handing over a symbolic cheque worth 10,000 euros for ten boys who are being brought up and looked after by officers of the NBC protection brigade in the city of Kineshma. As always, the event is being supported by the Russian Orthodox Church in Weimar.
"Back in 1999, we were favourably impressed by the NBC protection brigade's initiative and decided to support it," says Joachim Michel, Head of the EADS Moscow Office. "We are delighted that this has now become a tradition." Your point of contact:
