EADS achieves revenues of EUR 24.2 billion in 2000, up 7.3 %Growth shows the competitive edge of EADS in all its markets Amsterdam, 15 February 2001 In its first business year, EADS European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (stock exchange symbol: EAD) achieved group revenues of EUR 24.2 billion on a pro forma basis. This is an increase of 7.3 % compared with the 1999 pro forma revenues of EUR 22.6 billion and in line with market expectations. The growth shows the competitive edge of EADS in all its markets and confirms the company's position as a leader of the aerospace and defence industry. EADS will publish detailed figures on revenues, order intake and order backlog at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2001.
