EADS Sogerma wins the MLGB contract concerning the design and the manufacturing for all the A350 XWB versions (-800, -900 and -1000 versions).
This contract represents 500 million dollars and 800 MLGB to be delivered.
This success consolidates EADS SOGERMA as an Airbus Tear 1 supplier and confirms the EADS Sogerma positioning as a major player in the European Aerostructure landscape.
This activity for the company represents around 300 000 hours of engineering and 130 people in the manufacturing, with the first prototypes in 2010 and a first serial delivery in 2011.
The MLGB is a complex product with both metallic structures - Aluminium, Aluminium-Lithium,Titanium, and CFRP composite structure - which gives the opportunity to reinforce the expertise and the dynamism of people in the EADS Sogerma company.
