This new capability will offer HAI excellent perspectives for future growth and it will increase the company’s competitiveness.
Furthermore, HAI will have the opportunity to participate in collaborations and consortiums worldwide as a strategic partner in the designing and development sectors such as research and technology.
After the contract signature, Bernhard Gerwert, CEO of Military Air Systems, said: "EADS will support HAI to acquire its own design capability in true partnership. This is a significant step ahead for HAI and will not only improve its competitiveness but will also expand its potential for future business activities. As Europe's leading aerospace and defense company, EADS can offer more attractive opportunities for industrial participation in order to expand our collaboration for the benefit of both sides".
Kyriakos Linakis, HAI’s Chairman of BOD, pointed: "For HAI, the development of the designing center has a significant role for the company’s strategic orientation, due to that HAI obtains important benefits. Furthermore, HAI develops the necessary technological infrastructure and abilities in order to strengthen its position in the international market, to expand its business activities and at the same time reinforce its economic growth and competitiveness".
Tassos Philippakos, HAI’s CEO, added: "HAI’s designing center development upgrades the company’s abilities and offers significant benefits, because it will strengthen our competitiveness, business prospects and strategic re-orientation as a strategic partner towards the global market.
