36-year-old Stéphane Israël, a graduate of the ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure) and of the ENA (Ecole Nationale d’Administration), joins EADS as a business advisor to EADS CEO Louis Gallois.
Since 2001, Stéphane Israël had been working at the Court of Audit as a magistrate, first as an auditor and then as referendum adviser. From 2001 to 2002, he was also a staff representative of the Minister for Economy, Finance and Industry.
Stéphane Israël had previously been a drafting official at the Ministry of Defence (1995-1996) and a staff representative of the President of the French National Assembly’s office (1997-1998). Moreover, from 2005 to 2007, he was an associate professor at the ENS Ulm.
