ATR at Farnborough Air Show

ATR will attend the 45th edition of Farnborough Air Show, 17th-23rd July 2006. On that occasion, ATR CEO Filippo Bagnato will hold a global press conference on Wednesday 18th July, at 9.30 am, in the ATR Chalet (A 25-26).

ATR will have, on the static aircraft display, an ATR 42-500 in the livery of Air Madagascar. This aircraft will be equipped with In-Flight Entertainment system (IFE) and the Elegance cabin, a concept developed to increase the appeal and the comfort for ATR aircraft.

2006 is confirming the recovery of the turboprop market and the success of ATR aircraft. Since first of January 2005, ATR received orders for 137 new aircraft, some of which have not yet been announced.  

Since the beginning of the program, ATR has sold 808 aircraft (399 ATR 42s and 409 ATR 72s) and delivered 699 aircraft (385 ATR 42s and 314 ATR 72s).

Currently, 43 operators in Europe operate 276 ATRs.

ATR also will be present with scale models at the Exhibit stands of its two partners, EADS and Finmeccanica.
