Jean-Pierre Cousserans (38) has been appointed Senior Vice President Customer Services as of October 1st, 2004. He will replace Roberto Bellino who will take over new functions within Alenia Aeronautica.
Jean-Pierre Cousserans graduated in Aeronautical Engineering at the French National Institute of Civil Aviation (ENAC) in June 1990 and joined Aerospatiale in November 1991.
With more than 12 years spent within ATR (Avions de Transport Régional), Jean-Pierre Cousserans has a very good knowledge of the company and of its Customer Services activity.
Assistant to the Senior Vice President Product Support in 1994, he moved to the Spares Support Department in September 1996 to take various management positions including spares distribution, inventory control and component repairs.
In June 2001, he was appointed General Secretary of ATR in the frame of the integration of all ATR activities. He was then involved in a complete re-engineering of the major processes of ATR.
Since the beginning of the year, he has been working on Business Development within Airbus Customer Services.
Toulouse-based ATR is the world leader in the 50 to 70-seat turboprop market. ATR is an equal partnership between Alenia Aeronautica (Finmeccanica group) and EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company).
