On the occasion of Farnborough Air Show, ATR will hold 2 press conferences on Tuesday July 20 2004:
ATR will have, on the static aircraft display, a 72-seat ATR 72-500 that will be delivered at the end of the month to Binter Canarias in the new livery of the Spanish company. This aircraft is also equipped with the new Elegance cabin, a concept developed last year to increase the appeal and the comfort for passengers ATR aircraft.
The ATR 72-500 aircraft offers the lowest seat mile cost in the regional market.
An ATR 72-500 demo flight is also planned for Wednesday July 21 from 10:30 am to 11:30.
ATR has sold 687 aircraft (381 ATR 42s and 306 ATR 72s) across the world since the beginning of the programme and has booked a total of 11 orders since the beginning of the year (10 ATR 72-500s and 1 ATR 42-500).
Currently, 47 operators in Europe operate 290 ATRs.
ATR also will be present at the Exhibit stands of its two partners, EADS and Finmeccanica.
