Tarbes, le 28  novembre  2002

Australia’s first new TB20 Trinidad GT, was unveiled at Sydney’s Bankstown airport this week. The aircraft which has been delivered to a local owner, is the first of the new generation aircraft from French manufacturer EADS SOCATA, to arrive in Australia. This new aircraft will be based at Bankstown Airport.

The Trinidad is a 4/5 seat high performance piston aircraft designed for the private owner. It excels as a touring aircraft and is renowned for comfort and performance. A turbo-charged version is also available. Over 2,100 civil piston aircraft have been built by SOCATA, which is celebrating 91 years of continuous design and manufacture of both civil and military aircraft and associated componentry.

The Trinidad is well suited to Australia, being fast, very comfortable with excellent range/payload. TB20 Trinidad also features a retractable trailing-link gear, considered more suitable for operations into and from unsealed airstrips.

EADS SOCATA aircraft support and spare parts is provided in Australia and New Zealand by Australian Aerospace Pty Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Eurocopter.
