Socata Aircraft Announces New Distributor for TB Series

Pembrokes Pines, 03 March 2001

Pembroke Pines, Florida – March 8, 2001: Socata Aircraft, Inc. announced today the appointment of Airlink, Inc. headquartered in Farmingdale NY, as the Northeastern U.S.A. area distributor for their TB line of 4-5 seat single engine piston powered aircraft.

The territory covered by Airlink, Inc. will include New York, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. As part of the agreement, Airlink, Inc. has ordered twelve (12) aircraft for 2001, representing all five (5) models of TB series airplanes, and will be taking delivery of the first one in Spring 2001. Socata’s TB series distributor contract with Airlink, Inc. marks the third such agreement the company has signed with a U.S. Fixed Based Operator to market and sell Socata’s TB range of aircraft in North America. New Avex, Inc., based in Camarillo, CA is the authorized distributor for TB sales in the states of California, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah, while Jerry Supple Aircraft Sales, Inc., based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina serves as the Southeast Area distributor for TB aircraft sales in West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky. All other states are served directly by Socata Aircraft, Inc.
