International Award presented to EADS EFW Air Transport World awards a prize to EFW's advertisement

The prestigious Air Transport World (ATW) magazine presented EADS EFW (Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH) with its prized "AdAwards" in the category "Engine/Airframe/Conversion" in Washington D.C. on Monday evening, February 5.
The accolade refers to EFW's advertisement "A satisfied passenger is our best reward" that has been published in the global air transport press for one year. At the Washington presentation ceremony, the ATW jury paid tribute to the excellence of EFW's worldwide presentation with this ad: "You know you automatically think of cargo when you see the elephant. And the headline 'a satisfied passenger is our best reward' rings true as it catches your eye first ... We thought the last line of the copy summed up the premise of the whole ad. After all, genuine originals should always be transported in genuine originals".
EADS EFW in Dresden is the core centre for Airbus passenger to freighter conversions within EADS. All conversions performed at EFW's facility consist of a 100 % OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) solution and uses a maximum number of common parts from the corresponding Airbus freighter production, which gives the operator all the reliability and safety of a serial production aircraft.
