Airbus Continues Talks On Site Divestment In All Three Countries

Toulouse, 21 March 2008

Airbus wishes to clarify that it is continuing with the negotiations for the disvestments of sites in France, Germany and the UK. The sites concerned are Filton (wing component part) in the UK, St Nazaire-Ville and Meaulte in France, Varel, Nordenham and Laupheim as well as the Augsburg site of EADS, in Germany.

In this context, Airbus’ Management gives priority to the timely development of the A350 XWB and continues to take all necessary measures to support it.
