The A320 family comprises four aircraft that share the same cockpit, fly with the same operating procedures, and have the same 3,96m wide cabin cross-section and systems. Consisting of the 107-seat A318, 124-seat A319, 150-seat A320 and 185-seat A321 - the A320 family is leader in the single-aisle jetliner with more than 3,200 aircraft sold worldwide. It offers maximum operational flexibility on short- and medium-haul routes and lower operating costs that only a new-generation aircraft can offer, it is environmentally-friendly offering the lowest emissions and noise footprints in its class.
The A320 is configured for 150 passengers in a two-class cabin layout or 164 in a single class, and has a range of up to 3,000 nm / 5,550 km.

Airbus A318.
The A318 is a shortened version of the A319. The final assembly for the short range Airbus for 107 passengers takes place at Airbus Deutschland GmbH in Hamburg.

Airbus A319.
The A319 is a shortened, 124-passenger version of the A320. The Airbus (length: 33.84 m, range: up to 6800 km) is the ideal complement for the A318, A320 and A321 for reasons of commonality. This means that the three types show a high degree of similarity as to product support, maintenance and pilot ratings. Furthermore, new standards have been set in civil aviation by also developing the Airbus Corporate Jetliner ACJ on the basis of the A319.

Airbus A320.
The original member of the single-aisle airliner family designed since the 1980s, the A320 has been setting standards in cabin comfort, technology and efficiency for more than ten years. As the world's first commercial airliner to be equipped with a fly-by-wire system, the technological innovation introduced in the A320 has resulted in superior performance and reliability with reduced fuel consumption and easier maintenance. It is the "mother" of an entire family, which includes the A321, A319 and A318.

Airbus A321.
The A321 (a stretched version of the A320 measuring 44.5 m, and with a seating capacity for 185 passengers at ranges of up to 4,350 km) completed its maiden flight on March 11, 1993.

As the largest member of the A320 Family, the A321 accommodates 185 passengers in a typical two-class cabin layout or 199 in single class, also 220 passengers in a high-density configuration, over a range of up to 3,000nm/5,550km. This stretched fuselage aircraft has an overall length of 44.51 metres / 146 ft.
