Developing new EADS Executives
EXPAND is a threshold program designed for 60-80 participants consisting of Executives promoted within the last 12 months to Band 3 (Executive Level) and high performing Senior Managers (Band 4) with the potential to be promoted to Executive Level within the next 12 months.
To create value for EADS by challenging future and current Executives to develop and refine strategic leadership competencies necessary to lead EADS in the global market place, adopt a global perspective, shift into an entrepreneurial mindset, and foster knowledge transfer for the overall benefit of the group.
A three-phase program beginning with e-Leadership Assessments (360° feedback, leadership strengths & executive derailers) and e-Learning Management
Courses in Phase I. Two European residential modules follow in Phase II with a focus on strategic leadership and global strategy involving individualized executive coaching
and feedback in Module 1, and an EADS customized business simulation (“from products to services”) in Module 2. Finally, Phase III consists of an International Learning Expedition including benchmarking of top organizations by delegates in countries of strategic importance for EADS (2004-USA, 2005-Asia, 2006-Russia).
