A: Outstanding interns are nominated to participate by their internship coordinators regarding their level of performance and commitment while working within EADS. Keeping the group’s size constant, you need some luck as well.

Q: What are the selection criterias?

A: Next to outstanding performance during the internship and a good command of languages, candidates should be preferentially in their first years of studying.

Q: To which areas of studies is the EADS Juniors Programme addressed?

A: Students from all fields of study are welcome, though most participants have an engineering background. This is the natural consequence of EADS recruitment structure.

Q: Is there any age limit?

A: No, students from all ages are welcome to participate in the programme

Q: What takes place on the events?

A: Participants are invited to participate in workshops and special events. The highlights include visits to major European Airshows and a personal development workshop on the Island Juist.

Q: Does the programme guarantee being hired for a job at EADS?

A: Many Juniors are indeed hired, however being a member of the EADS Juniors Programme does not guarantee a contract with EADS. The programme helps you to establish useful networks to various company branches and to give a positive impression.

Q: Do the members of the programme have any legal commitment to the EADS?

A: There is no such commitment.

Q: What happens if a student cannot take part in all the EADS Juniors programme events?

A: A certain degree of commitment is required, but it wouldn’t be reasonable to expect everyone to be available for each event.

Q: Is there any kind of financial support for participants?

A: Yes, EADS subsidizes most travel expenses and the workshop.
