Company ProfileEADS PZL "Warszawa-Okęcie" S.A. was established in 1928 as the first Polish aircraft manufacturer. During the past 75 years the factory has produced over 3000 aircraft establishing sales in more than 30 countries worldwide. The factory and company HQ is located close to Okęcie International Airport in Warsaw, with the Agroservices operations (ZUA) located in Mielec in the South of Poland. In October 2001 PZL "Warszawa-Okęcie" S.A. became the first successfully privatised company of the Polish Defence Sector, with 51% Government holding in the company being sold to EADS-CASA (the current equity structure: 76% EADS CASA; 18% Ministry of State Treasury; 6% workers). The company now trades under the name of EADS PZL "Warszawa-Okęcie" S.A. and is a member of the EADS Group under the management of EADS-CASA.
