EADS PMR Digital Radio Platforms provide excellent voice communication which may be combined with variety of enhanced data applications. Depending on the industry, this can mean telemetry, measuring, reporting, or anything that needs to be transmitted as data.
Security Guard Control System
Security Guard Control System offers vital protection to security personnel and objects. Security personnel may be monitored on their route to ensure that the object is guarded as required. Prior to deployment, a security guard will be given a pre-defined route to control. Along the route the guard will be required to pass several control points on his route. Should the guard miss a control point, or should be delayed on his journey, the control system will automaticall alert the supervisor. Should Lone-Worker Monitoring be required, this may be provided as an optional feature.
Since August 2001, Allianz Insurance has deployed an EADS PMR Digital radio system at their new premises on the River Main in Frankfurt. The radio system is used in the administration of the buildings including a Guard Control System.
Zurich Airport deployed a Security Guard Control system to monitor the secure goods transit at the airport.
Helsinki Energy uses telemetry
Helsinki Energy chose TETRA for its ability to use the communication network for effective business applications, such as telemetry for the company's measuring units.
For example, weather and energy measurements from houses fitted with solar panels are transmitted via TETRA and weather information is available via TETRA WAP.
