THR880i benefits

THR880i TETRA radio is a dependable communication tool offering many of the latest advances in mobile devices. Its Series 40 style user interface makes it easy and efficient to use.

Faster response times.

With its integrated GPS, the THR880i radio provides essential location information. This makes it easier to track and allocate staff resources. Dispatching the nearest available unit to the scene of an incident can result in faster response times and better service for citizens.

Superior ease of use

The THR880i radio is easy to use, reliable and convenient. The straightforward radio side features only the necessary buttons for reliable group communication. Voice feedback guides and confirms communications, allowing users to focus on their tasks.

On the phone side, the unit has a sharp high-resolution colour display and the latest user interface. This gives easy access to group folders, phone book, message editor and radio settings.

Enhanced user safety

By pressing the Red key on the radio, the user can initiate a priority call, such as emergency call to a pre-defined destination. At the same time, it is also possible to send the radio’s co-ordinates to command and control or another defined destination.

Enhanced mobility

The sharp, active TFT display with 65,536 colours enables easy and convenient viewing – even with detailed graphics and colour images. Users can access and view digital content from their organisation’s databases and even from the web, using the radio’s XHTML colour browser.

Solid durability

THR880i radio is constructed from durable materials and is fitted with protective seals and bumpers. This makes it resistant to water, dust and shocks. The ultrasonically welded polycarbonate display window has a special hard coating to prevent scratches.
